I thought this was a great book. The book had a very interesting plot line about a war vet turned detective who is investigating the death of a super model. The bookhad me on the edge of my seat the whole time and the ending is unexpecte...

Blog #4

I am reading the book Bourne Identity and I think converting the book into a movie would be a good idea. The movie would have to have lots of action. Some of the big scenes that must be in the movie would be when he gets shot at the beginning of the play and falls into the ocean. Another important scene in the book that needs to be included is when Bourne kidnaps Marie and makes her drive him out of the town. A scene that you could cut from the book is when Bourne has a 6 month rehab assignment after he got shot at he beginning of the book and does nothing but slowly get better. Another scene that isn't very important is when Bourne gets smuggled out of France and goes to Switzerland it just involves him riding a ship out of town. I would make sure whatever actor plays Bourne is a very handsome, muscular man to attract the female audience and generally most people imagine special agents as attractive and muscular. I would make sure Marie is a young actress who is very attractive and intelligent to portray a doctor. One little thing I would change is the doctors age from forty to twenty five. Based off the film version I thought they did a poor job with scenery. He is in Paris and when I was reading the book I imagined these beautiful restaurants and amazing cut scenes of Paris. The movie portray as dark place and poorly uses lighting. As the director of the movie I would make sure the three big keys of a movie are filled. Good acting, good storyline and beautiful scenery. If those three things are filled you have a good movie!

  1. I loved your top-three things that had to be in order for it to be a good movie. I agree that the actors would have to be perfect to portray the characters of Bourne and Marie.
